Sped up my Motorola Droid

I've installed this card (PNY 16 GB microSDHC Flash Memory Card P-SDU16G10TEFS2) in my original generation Motorola Droid, replacing the stock class 2 card. Thanks to the class 10 speed, apps on the microsd card load noticeably faster and run smoother. I'm happy with the upgrade.

PNY 32GB Class 10

I was a bit skeptical at first when I saw the price compared to the other class 10 32gb cards, but when I received it and copied all of my stuff onto the PNY card and it was superb. I used the SD Tools app from the Android Marketplace and its speeds were right on the dot from the manufacturers website. I clocked in 10.1MBs writes and the reads were very impressive at 22.6MBs on my Samsung Galaxy S 4G. The fastest transfer writes I saw while I was copying my files over to the card was 9.2MBs on a >1gb file. The fastest transfer reads for me was around 18MBs.

*Also to note, there is no SD adapter included as pictured on the manufacturers website

Better than advertised!

This is a review for the PNY 16GB microSDHC P-SDU16G10TEFS2.

The technical description says 8GB, but it's really 16GB. Check to make sure the title mentions P-SDU16G10TEFS2 for the 16GB model.

Real world speed tested on H2testw:

Writing speed: 15.6 MByte/s
Reading speed: 18.2 MByte/s

This Class 10 card exceeds its speed standard with zero errors. At 16GB, 15 MByte/s write speed for $32.99, this card is a bargain.
